Yes. Family members or dependents of Rice graduate students, staff, and faculty are eligible for borrowing privileges. Family members must first obtain their own Rice ID from the University Police department and then bring it to the Circulation Desk on the first floor of the Fondren Library.
The privileges include:

28 days checkout for books
1 week checkout for CDs and DVDs
4 renewals
