Most Rice ID holders, including staff and faculty, are eligible for borrowing privileges.
- Graduate Students in the Master of Liberal Studies Degree Program at the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies are given the same borrowing privileges as all other graduate students at Rice University.
- Students enrolled in courses in the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies such as ESL courses must join the Friends of Fondren Library to obtain borrowing privileges.
The Fondren Library has borrowing agreements with some area institutions. For more information, see our Borrowing Materials: Visitors page.
If you are an alumnus or not currently affiliated with Rice University, you can obtain borrowing privileges by becoming a member of the Friends of Fondren Library.
