Yes, the library is open to the public.  Visitors are required to present a current government-issued photo ID when they enter at the library's East Entrance. Access via the West Entrance, facing the pavilion, is restricted to Rice ID holders.

If you are under the age of eighteen you will either need to be accompanied by an adult or bring this form, signed by your school's librarian: permission form for high school students.
