Fondren Library's Classic Catalog lists the books and other materials held by the library (including the Business Information Center, the Fine Arts Library and the Government Documents Department).
To Find Books By An Author:
Select Begins with, then type the author’s name, last name first, and select the author button. If you are looking for a multi-author work, type only one author’s name. You will receive an alphabetical list of authors including the name you typed if it is found. Click on the name for a list of titles.
To Find A Book By Title:
Select Begins with, then type the title, omitting English and foreign language initial articles (such as: a, an, as, the, der, el, le). Then select the title button. You will receive an alphabetical list of titles including the title you typed if it is found. Click on the title; item information (including call number and availability) will appear on the first screen.

To Find Books By Keyword:
If you are looking for books on a topic, select Keyword. Then type the word or words describing your topic and select words anywhere. You will get a list of records containing the word(s) you typed. The records are sorted from newest to oldest.
For a more advanced keyword search use the following techniques:
